Clinical psychologist & canine behaviour consultant
Helping you embrace your true colours
For you, your dog, and the bond that connects you – in Brussels and online
Welcome!
I’m Luca Barbara Bernáth, clinical psychologist and canine behaviour consultant. I support people going through difficult times, and dog guardians or families who share their lives with a dog. And sometimes both at once, because these realities overlap more often than you might think.
Sessions are available in French, English and Hungarian, in person or online.

My services
Psychological support
Sessions for your mental wellbeing.
I’m here to help you find your footing again, in a space that’s entirely yours. Whether you’re going through a difficult time, struggling with self-confidence, or simply want to feel better, you don’t have to go through it alone.

Human-dog relationship
Sessions around everyday life with your dog.
I support you in welcoming and/or better understanding your (future) best canine friend. Because it’s never too late – or too early – to improve your life together and strengthen your bond in a way that feels right for you.

Workshops
Raising awareness about dogs.
For children, because educating from an early age means investing in a world that’s more respectful of living beings. And for adults, because it’s never too late to better understand our four-legged friends and learn the right behaviours.

You’re going through a difficult time…
Stress, exhaustion, self-doubt, emotions that are hard to untangle… I work with anyone who feels the need for support, a listening ear, or simply a space to breathe, understand and move forward. Sometimes, you just need somewhere to put down what you’re carrying, without filter and without judgement. You’re in the right place.
You share your life with a dog…
Living with a dog is full of good moments… but it can also be exhausting at times. Between the doubts, other people’s opinions and emotions that are hard to name, dog guardians go through experiences that deserve to be heard, not minimised. With my dual background as a psychologist and canine behaviour specialist, I support both dogs and their humans towards greater wellbeing, by bringing support to the human side of the bond.

Why Alebrije thérapie?
Alebrijes (pronounce: ah-leh-BREE-hez) are colourful Mexican hand-carved wooden creatures, and each one unique and impossible to replicate. Just like us, just like our dogs, and just like the paths we take to feel better.
